Once they drove you mad with crackly,tinny squeaking. You half-hear Leonard Cohen through them, wheezing 'Suzanne'. When you listen to the radio online everything sounds aquatic.

Then they packed up and became RUBBISH! but now, delicately painted with motifs from Deep History, they can once again stand uselessly next to your computer - only now they are BEAUTIFUL!! there's aboyt 40, and they took me FOREVER to paint - then the museum only used 6 of them! They're £50 each but if you don't want to buy any, you can see them in their plasticky flesh at ..er I think it's just left Clitheroe.
